Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus

The station building designed by British architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens as a fusion of the High Victorian Gothic style of architecture and traditional Indian architecture is completed in 1888 . Former name Victoria Terminus was changed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in March 1996. The terminus is used as a disembarking station for Central Railway local trains and long-distance trains. It is the headquarter of India's Central Railway.
