Worldwide famous beach with multiple sections. It is located at the Atlantic shore from Posto Dois to Posto Seis. There are also 2 historic forts: Fort Copacabana built in 1914 is at the south end and Fort Duque de Caxias built in 1779 is at the north end of the beach.
4 km beach is very attractive for the swimmers and the surfers. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs offers entertaining days in Rio de Janeiro
